Job Responsibilities · Conduct comprehensive research on the blockchain market landscape, trending narratives and latest blockchain innovation. · Stay informed about market trends, industry news and technical development. · Fundamental and technical analysis of various protocols for investing purposes. · Collect, curate and index blockchain data to extract meaningful insight by quantitative and qualitative methods. · Maintain and enhance the unique quantified dataset. · Deep dive into whitepapers, tokenomics, assumption analysis on governance proposal, protocol revenue valuation and on-chain research. · Assist in creating investment research materials for publication. · Assist in providing strategic recommendations to support decision-making processes in crypto investment portfolio and portfolio holdings monitoring. · Ad-hoc projects and duties.
Job Requirements · Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Job Responsibilities: · Develop and Implement Trading Strategies: Design, develop, and implement quantitative trading strategies using statistical models and financial data. Continuously test, optimize, and improve strategies to enhance profitability and risk management. · Market Analysis: Analyze large datasets and financial markets to identify profitable opportunities. Apply quantitative methods to evaluate market trends and asset price movements. · Trading Execution: Execute trades and developing trading automation in crypto assets’ liquid market while ensuring optimal execution and minimal market impact. Use algorithmic trading methods when applicable. · Risk Management: Monitor, manage, and mitigate risks associated with trading strategies. Work with risk teams to ensure that risk parameters are adhered to and that appropriate hedging strategies are in place. · Performance Evaluation: Continuously monitor and assess the performance of trading strategies. Use data analytics and statistical tools to assess and improve performance metrics such as Sharpe ratio, drawdowns, and P&L. · Research and Development: Conduct independent research to discover new trading opportunities and create robust mathematical models. Requirements: · Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or related fields. · Experience: 1-3 years of experience in quantitative trading, algorithmic trading, or a related role. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience and strong quantitative skills may also be considered. · Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, R, or Java, and familiarity with data analysis tools. Knowledge of algorithmic trading platforms (e.g., QuantConnect, NinjaTrader) is a plus. · Strong Analytical Skills: Solid foundation in mathematical and statistical analysis, as well as experience with data modelling, regression analysis, and machine learning techniques. · Financial Markets Knowledge: Understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and trading mechanisms. Familiarity with cryptocurrency, derivatives and high-frequency trading is preferred. · Risk Management: Strong understanding of risk management principles and the ability to manage risk/reward trade-offs in real-time market conditions. · Attention to Detail: Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. · Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with team members. Preferred Qualifications: · Experience with algorithmic trading or high-frequency trading (HFT) in equity, futures, or FX markets. · Familiarity with low-latency trading systems and optimization techniques. · Knowledge of market microstructure and electronic trading platforms. · CFA, FRM, or other relevant certifications.
