Shayne Coplan is the founder and CEO of Polymarket. He built a cryptocurrency miner in 2013 at the age of 15, and was potentially the youngest participant in the Ethereum presale. He started his career as an intern at Genius.com, a short time later he worked at Chronicled, the first venture funded Ethereum startup, and was subsequently a governance contributor on many of the earliest crypto projects, like the DAO, DXdao, Tezos, and more. He is an NYU Computer Science dropout. He was one of the biggest users of Augur, the first decentralized prediction market, and saw the potential & opportunity with proper execution. He’s also one of the largest NFT art collectors.
