Luuk Strijers

Luuk joined Deribit as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in 2019 looking after business development, sales and products.
In 2024 Luuk became CEO for Deribit and moved from Panama to Dubai.

Luuk has an extensive background in exchange trading with over 20 years experience in listed products, ETFs, Warrants, Equities, Derivatives, Exchange matching and Corporate Finance.
Before Deribit, Luuk was responsible for listed products for SGX (The Singapore Exchange) and was based in Singapore since 2014.

Earlier he was responsible for Business Development for a derivatives exchange in Amsterdam the Netherlands and active in the capital market & corporate finance space.

Luuk holds a Master of Science in Finance from Maastricht University.
