Lawrence is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IDA. He is responsible to shape the company's direction and drive its success in the stablecoin business and digital asset projects. He is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and innovators who are shaping the future of humanity. He is also the founder of BlackPine, an investment company that supports entrepreneurs in transformative industries such as blockchain, AI, alternative protein, eSports, and new economy sectors. Lawrence began his career at UBS and has over 20 years of investment experience, working with global companies across multiple markets. He is also a Co-Founder of Kenetic, a crypto Web3 investor, where he has been involved in Web3 projects since 2015.
In recognition of his dedication to Web3 development, Lawrence was appointed as a non-official member of the Task Force on Promoting Web3 Development by the HKSAR Government in July 2023 and Founding Vice-Chair of Web3 Harbour. These prestigious appointments highlight his expertise and influence in the field. Furthermore, Lawrence is an active member of the Young Presidents' Organization and a passionate supporter of the global arts community.
