Fabio founded Abraxas in 2002, establishing the company as a leader in the hedge fund industry. Since 2018, Abraxas has shifted its focus to digital asset management, leveraging the growth and potential of the evolving digital finance landscape. Fabio leads the portfolio management division and oversees the Elysium Funds strategies, providing both market-neutral and directional exposure to Abraxas' investors.
Prior to founding Abraxas, Fabio held senior roles in proprietary trading and derivatives at leading financial institutions. He served as Head of Strategic Proprietary Trading at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DRKW) in London and also worked at UBS and Merrill Lynch.
