Ben brings over a decade of expertise in supply chain management, finance, and business development with a proven track record of building scalable ventures. He is passionate about solving real world challenges with technology, particularly the chronic lack of access to working capital impacting many businesses in the construction industry.
Prior to Riverchain, he was the General Manager – Technology Innovation at New World Development and Head of Open Innovation, where he managed and drove the group’s innovation strategy, specifically in property, retail, health & wellness, and sustainability. He also oversaw early-stage investments and venture-build initiatives.
Ben founded Impact Kommons, Asia’s first UNSDGs-focused accelerator focuses on supply chain, logistics, and robotics startups. He also founded Startup Launchpad, which became one of Asia’s largest IoT startup trade events, and relaunched Global Sources Direct, a B2B e-commerce platform that connected Asia-based branded manufacturers (OBMs) to distributors and buyers worldwide.
Ben graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
